Bill Gates's approach on epidemics can potentially put an end to the upcoming diseases such as Zika and SARS that can potentially become widespread. Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation collaborated with the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness and Innovation to come up with a concrete plan in tackling epidemics as they shifted their focus on health care.

Bill Gates is well known for his innovative accomplishments with Microsoft. Instead of focusing on technology, however, the billionaire shifted his interest to providing an option to tackle epidemics in the near future.

Bill Gates opened up about his plans for eliminating future epidemics in a recent interview with the BBC at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. He said that his team will work with CEPI to come up and deploy vaccines that can eliminate potential outbreaks including Zika, SARS, and Ebola.

Bill Gates' approach on epidemics is said to pave way for a new medical advancement where countries including Africa and Southern America can benefit from. The co-founder of Microsoft is reportedly actively setting his foot on the medical field.

Gates previously pointed out about the looming dangers of health related problems in the near future. He opened up about his intentions in focus on health care in terms of his philanthropic work and how diseases can eventually be contained prior to an outbreak, as reported by the Business Insider.

"Whether it occurs by a quirk of nature or at the hand of a terrorist, epidemiologists say a fast-moving airborne pathogen could kill more than 30 million people in less than a year. And they say there is a reasonable probability the world will experience such an outbreak in the next 10 to 15 years," Bil Gates said during his speech at the Munich Security Conference.

Coming up with various vaccines, drugs and possible cure for diseases that can easily breakout is part of Bill Gates' approach on epidemics. Up to this date, the co-founder of Microsoft along with his wife is focused on ending health care problems that can wipe our humans in the future.
