"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 fans have been wondering if Ellen Pompeo's Meredith will choose Alex, played by Justin Chambers or Nathan, played by Martin Henderson in the show. Get to know if she will allow herself to be torn in a love triangle.

According to a recent report from TV Guide, Martin Henderson, who plays Nathan in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 knows that there is a huge fanbase for Ellen Pompeo's Meredith and her late husband, Derek Sheperd, played by Patrick Dempsey. Now that Meredith has been attracting guys, particularly Nathan and Alex, fans would like to see whom she will choose between the two.

Martin Henderson admitted that the "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 fans are dedicated to the tandem of Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey, however, Dempsey's character already bid goodbye to the TV series. Perhaps, this should open the hearts of the fans in seeing Meredith with a new man, whether it is Nathan or Alex.

Refinery29 said that Nathan already confessed his love for Meredith. Yet, she is yet to make a decision, as Alex almost admitted to his feelings for her, as well in the recent episode of "GA."

Martin Henderson On Patrick Dempsey's Character And Fanbase

"I think it is inevitable, if you bring in a new character, there is going to be resistance and negative emotions as well as positive," Henderson said in his interview. "For me, it is just fun to sort of be a part of that and see the audience grapple with it. Because I think even the people that sort of go, 'Oh, I hate Riggs,' it is a testament to how much they love the show and obviously how much they love Derek."

Henderson is not taking all the negative feedback for his character in the series. He said he is not the one who writes the story, which is why he cannot determine the relationship of Meredith with Nathan or Alex.
