Beyonce is in talks to voice the character of Nala in the live-action remake of Disney's "The Lion King." Get to know if she will she say yes or not. Read on for more details.

Beyonce To Join "The Lion King?"

Sources told Variety that Beyonce has yet to accept or reject the reported acting job. The voluptuous mom-of-one is now pregnant with twins. She even dropped from her headline spot for Coachella and was replaced by Lady Gaga.

Jon Favreau helmed the latest animated film for "Jungle Book" in 2016. If he will follow the same pattern, his project only requires voice actors in "The Lion King." The insiders also said that they are willing to accommodate her hectic schedule.

Despite having few stints in the past, "The Lion King"'s Nala will only be her second dip in the animation genre. She previously lent her voice for the 3D CGI movie called "Epic" in 2013.

Beyonce's Reported Nala Role

The animated musical version of "The Lion King" premiered in 1994. It focused on the adventures of Simba, the true heir for Pride Rock.

He was then exiled when an incident happened that changed everything. Throughout his journey, he met some of his lifelong friends.

Nala, on the other hand, is one of his best friends while growing up. When he returned to reclaim the throne, the two became lovers.

Disney is currently working on the reboot films for the classic animated movies. For the past few years, the studio already released few of them. Some of them are "Alice in Wonderland," "Maleficent," "Cinderella," "Jungle Book" and Emma Watson's "Beauty and the Beast."

Favreau is set to direct "The Lion King" remake, based on the script from writer, Jeff Nathanson. Just last month, he made the announcement for the cast members on Twitter.

Donald Glover leads the gang as Simba. Meanwhile, James Earl Jones returns to reprise his Mufasa role. The production for "The Lion King" starts in May.
