Natasha Richardson died eight years ago, due to fractures sustained in a ski mishap. As Neeson is once again playing his character in the "Love Actually" reboot, it has caused him to ponder on her passing and how everyone's lives have been altered, 14 years after the original film was made, per RTE.
Speaking about his ongoing struggle to process his loss, the veteran actor, Liam Neeson stated that the death of his wife hits him just like a wave. He still feels empty at times and he misses his wife so much.
The sequel to "Love Actually" was filmed for the benefit of a charity in the United Kingdom. His role on the film is a widower named Daniel - and he never expected that the situation of his role would happen in his own life.

After doing the "Love Actually" movie sequel, Liam Neeson has new upcoming movies this year.
Liam Neeson only just signed a movie contract for "The Revenger", which resembles a parody of the past films he did for the past years.
Before that, though, he'll be the lead actor in the upcoming film "The Commuter". The upcoming movie, however, which has a script written by Byron Willinger and Phil de Blasi, is more of a suspense thriller. It is set to shoot in New York next spring, as reported by Empire.
