Laurie Hernandez won “Dancing With The Stars” Season 23 and grabbed the highly-esteemed Mirrorball Trophy with her partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy on the episode that was aired on Nov. 22, 2016. This youngest winner (of the show to date) has suggested Simone Biles to wear socks under her shoes during the period of practicing, mainly to avoid any blisters on her feet. She boldly said in a short conversation with People on Tuesday (Apr. 4) after being honored with Latinovator Award at Hispanicize 2017 in Miami.

After winning the award, the “Dancing With The Stars” season 23 winner also unveiled her first ever Crest Toothpaste advertisement that will be aired on the Spanish language networks on Apr. 10. She also added to her advice for Simone Biles saying that she learned that (wearing socks under her shoes to avoid an unfortunate situation) by herself from her own experience and now she feels glad to pass on this tip to Biles.

While Hernandez was questioned about her opinion on Biles and Aly Raisman’s sexy swimsuit snaps, she said that they always take pride in their bodies as gymnasts. The Olympic gold medalist Biles got served recently on the set of “Dancing With The Stars” by Nancy Kerrigan, the figure skater and winner of Olympic medals. Biles also danced a few quick steps with Elvis Presley’s “Viva Las Vegas,” reports Excelle Sports.
