‘Tokyo Ghoul’ Season 3 & ‘One Punch Man’ Season 2 Won’t Be Released In 2017
“Tokyo Ghoul” Season 3 is yet to get its official release date. During the end of Mar. this year, we had seen how anime lovers were disappointed after getting the update that Viz Media (the organization runs “One Punch Man” and Tokyo Ghoul” simultaneously) won’t release the series in the present month as it was supposed to be. It declared that it had no progress in the series.
What Did Viz Media Say Against Kevin Hamric’s Comment?
Based on the recent comment of Kevin Hamric, Senior Director (Sales and Marketing), Viz Media, there is was a big confidence that “Tokyo Ghoul” Season 3 will have its premiere soon. He said that this anime series along with “One Punch Man” Season 2 would be the biggest anime series to watch out in 2017, reports Christian Today. But their excitement soon metamorphosed into disappointment after Viz Media released a statement to establish that Kevin Hamric was actually wrong.
Viz Media ensured that Kevin Hamric’s statement on “Tokyo Ghoul” Season 3 and “One Punch Man” Season 2 was misspoken or misquoted in his interview with the media. However, after several days since Hamric’s interview, there is no vital update on the season 3’s premiere date. Hence, like us, numerous fans are having the similar opinion that the series will not be released at least in this year.
What We Can See In The Upcoming Episodes
Whatever the release date is set by Viz Media, the upcoming episodes of “Tokyo Ghoul” Season 3 will mainly highlight the character, Ken Kaneki who was shown killed in the previous season. A YouTube video shows that a new character will be introduced who bear striking resemblances to Ken Kaneki, as reported by Korea Portal. Now, the big question is that whether the same character will be resurrected for the next season or will a new character be introduced.
