For those who are unaware of “The Good Fight,” it is a spin-off or sequel to CBS’ highly popular series “The Good Wife.” The digital subscription service of CBS has declared that the spin-off series has been wonderful and received fantastic response. Hence, it wants more episodes at least to air in early 2018.

“The Good Fight” took just over a year after “The Good Wife” ended on CBS. Created by Michelle King and Robert King, the season 1 was premiered on Feb. 19, this year with the first episode airing on CBS and the left nine episodes on CBS All Access. Altogether “The Good Fight” Season 1 had only 10 episodes that did not last for long.

Reactions CBS All Access subscribers Paves The Way For “The Good Fight" Season 2

According to the President and Chief Operating Offer, CBS Interactive, Marc DeBevoise, “The Good Fight” Season 1 only had a few episodes, to see what reaction it could get from everyone. He said that the reaction from CBS All Access subscribers and critics had been extraordinary. Hence, the demand for second season is at the peak.

How Did “The Good Fight” Episode 9 Start?

“The Good Fight” Episode 9 opens with Maia (Rose Leslie) and Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) who take their seats at an empty waiting room to meet an FBI Agent Madeline Starkey (Jane Lynch). Lynch is one of the guest stars only after episode 1, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

Maia and Lucca are seen sitting for the Starkey to provide an answer to the questions relating to the investigation. According to Vulture, this attempt is being taken by Maia to give genuine answer because it’s a crime to lie a federal agent. An agreement was also previously signed before the meeting, which cites that Maia is obliged to tell the truth to help the investigation.
