‘One Punch Man’ Season 2 Spoilers: Release Possibility In July; New Plot Hints Saitama’s Poor Rank

By Vin Ross | Update Date: Apr 10, 2017 08:55 PM EDT

Although the premiere date of “One Punch Man” Season 2 is not yet confirmed, some reports are indicating that the series may be released in July this year, simply because it will have its second anniversary in the same month. However, the series is said to be presently in production but the progress so far is still unknown.

Why Anime Lovers Are Expecting “One Punch Man” Season 2’s Release In July?

According to a report released by Mobi Picker, this is because the first season of “One Punch Man” was premiered in July 2015. If the studio keeps a target to follow the same release schedule for the second season, it will be able to celebrate the second anniversary of the series with the viewers. However, the studio is still silent over this issue.

In a Twitter update, Ken Xyro has tweeted a photograph that seems to be a poster of “One Punch Man” Season 2. His tweet reads “Production is in progress. Exact date is TBA (To be announced).” If we go with the tweet, fans will be happy with the news that season 2 is in production but they still have to wait for the announcement of the release date.

Why Saitama Has Been Graded A B-Class Rank?

According to some latest updates, the plot for the upcoming “One Punch Man” Season 2 episodes is taking a new route. We all knew Saitama as an immense powerful character who was able to destroy any enemy by just a single punch. But he (Saitama) has been graded a B-Class rank by Hero Association, despite his tremendous power simply because he could not overcome all of the intellectual challenges, as reported by The Christian Post.

We hope once “One Punch Man” Season 2 is on the small screen, fans get to see completely different and interesting storylines that can also pave the way for season 3. Stay tuned with us for the latest updates on this popular anime series.
