‘Avatar 2’ Update: Script Over But Filming Commences In Autumn; Storyline Starts Where Original Movie Ended
Fans expected that their long wait for “Avatar 2” would be over by Dec. 2018. Although, the recent delay in production has smashed all their dreams to amuse with this decade’s one of the best science fiction movies.
However, the good news is that the highly-anticipated movie “Avatar 2” has finally started shaping up, as the script part is already done. But the filming for the sequel will start in autumn this year. This is recently being confirmed by Sigourney Weaver, who played the character Dr. Grace Augustine in the 2009 hit movie.
The 67-year old Weaver assured fans that the scripts for four sequels have already been finished but the shooting for “Avatar 2” is yet to start this fall. She further said that the script for the upcoming sequel is “so amazing” that the viewers’ long wait for the movie is absolutely worth it, as reported by The Christian Post.
Why Is It Not Possible For James Cameron To Release “Avatar 2” In 2018?
Recently, the” director of “Avatar 2,” James Cameron said that the crew would not just be working on the second sequel, they are supposed to work on the third, fourth and fifth sequels at the same time. Hence, it is not possible to finish the production work and make it ready for Dec. 2018, as it was previously declared.
“It’s an epic undertaking ... So I know where I’m going to be for the next eight years of my life. It’s not an unreasonable time frame if you think about it. It took us four-and-a-half years to make one movie and now we’re making four, James Cameron said to the media.
“Avatar 2’s” Storyline Will Start Where The Previous Movie Ended
According to Celebeat, the plot of “Avatar 2” will continue the story of the original movie. With the ending of the war, the military personnel, and other workers were sent back to earth. Only some people like Dr. Augustine (Weaver), Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and her entire science team stayed back in Pandora.
