The "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 finale is still a month away but there have been few updates ahead of its end. Read on for more details.
We still have a lot of episode before the "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 finale next month but Shonda Rhimes is here to share some spoilers. Meanwhile, an outlet revealed that the show shares a similar element with the hit "13 Reasons Why" series.
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Spoilers
There are still four episodes before the airing of the season 13 finale. However, it seems that Shonda Rhimes and director, Debbie Allen cannot help themselves from disclosing some clues for the longtime ABC show.
Rhimes and Allen recently attended the red carpet premiere for the 100th episode celebration her other series, "Scandal." This will be the second "Grey's Anatomy" finale that Allen will handle. She previously directed the last episode of the 12th season as well.
Both Allen and Rhimes also teased on what people can expect from "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14. They added that it's going to be a spectacular run.
“We’re planting some seeds that you won’t see coming, but you will be waiting to see how it’s all going to play out," Allen told EW via CarterMatt.
"Grey's Anatomy" Hospital On Fire?
The creative duo said that the upcoming episode is "on fire." When asked if the show will feature a literal fire at Grey-Sloan hospital, they did not elaborate further. According to Allen, fans should still feel worried, which might hint some troubles for their favorite characters.
On the other hand, CarterMatt has speculated on this statement. The possible scenarios vary from a fire incident inside the hospital to rushing burned victims. The outlet shared the possibility that it will not event involve a fire but we might see some romance in the air.
"13 Reasons Why" Connection
Avid "Grey's Anatomy" followers have joined the "13 Reasons Why" bandwagon. They noticed that both shows have two common denominators -- Dylan Minnette and Kate Walsh.
Minnette and Walsh were part of the 13-episode Netflix project, which deals with the social relevant topic about suicide. They play as Clay and Mrs. Baker, respectively. The two actors also portrayed some meaty parts in the medical drama.
Walsh played as Dr. Addison Montgomery in the past seasons. Meanwhile, E! Online reported that the 10-year-old Minnette got the guest starring role as the hearing-impaired kid who wanted "new ears" for Halloween. Addison's ex, Mark Sloan (Eric Dane), lead the surgery.
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 finale will air on May 18, 2017. Debbie Allen directs the episode from Stacy McKee's script. As of now, there is no news on the episode title and official synopsis.
