Aidan Turner's Chances Of Being Next James Bond

Actor, Aidan Turner who has become the heartthrob of millions after his role in "Poldark" is now at 5/2 from 4/1. This means that the actor is the second favorite contender for the next James Bond, Dublin Live reported.

The only actor who is ahead of "Poldark" star, Aidan Turner in the list is Idris Elba, whose odds have drastically reduced from 9/2 to 7/4. But no matter what, Turner's fans would love to see him as the new 007.

The third position in the list is a tie between actors Michael Fassbender and Tom Hardy. A new name has now popped up on the list. The star of 'Hatton Garden" is priced at 20/1 at present.

Aoife Heffron from BoyleSports mentioned, "Once again we have seen an upheaval in the next James Bond betting as reports emerge that Idris Elba could already have signed on the dotted line." Heffron also added, "Nothing has been confirmed, however, leaving us shaken and stirred as punters rush to have their say in the betting."

'Poldark' Star Aidan Turner To Return Earlier Than Expected

While it not a common phenomenon for any show to return sooner than expected, "Poldark" Season 3 appears to be an exception. Fans will be happy to know that season 3 is coming back earlier, Den of Geek reported.

Since season 2 started in Sept. 2016, it was expected that the new season will take around a year to return. So, many thought that it will premiere in Sept. this year.

A BBC spokesperson said in this context, "The earlier filming schedule on this series means that we can bring the much anticipated third series back sooner for fans to Sunday nights in June." Stay tuned for more updates on the show and its star, Turner.
