“The Fate Of The Furious” has finally crossed the finished line, as the movie has opened its screening. The most important part is that it has been successful in beating the records made by “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and “Jurassic World.”

Reports claimed that the 8th installment in “The Fast And The Furious” franchise has successfully made an estimated £425.2m over the Easter weekend. Get to know the details, here.

Will The Release In China Boost More Revenue?

As usual, for almost all the Hollywood movies, the theater launches in China hardly disappoint directors and producers. The same has happened with the much-hyped, “The Fate Of The Furious.” The opening of the F. Gary Gray-directed movie has bestowed $190.31 million (£151.7 million), the biggest amount in the history of a three-day opening, as reported by The Sun.

According to Live Mint, “The Fate Of The Furious” was the only new release of last weekend. The analysts at Hollywood Stock Exchange and BoxOfficePro.com estimated the film to open at $118 to $127 million in North America.

Dwayne Johnson Speaks About His Role Not Driving Any Attractive Fast Cars

The last trailer for “The Fate Of The Furious” showed Dwayne Johnson driving a jeep, whereas all his contemporaries in the movie were seen rocking Lamborghinis and Corvettes. In a short conversation with the media, the actor-cum-professional wrestler, "The Rock," had a good reason why his character, Luke Hobbs is not seen driving any of the fast carsm which are the major attractions in the “The Fast And The Furious” franchise.

The 44-year old Johnson recalled the action scenes in “The Fate Of The Furious,” that also included one dangerous stunt where he needed to give a shot for sliding on the ice and redirecting the torpedo. As we all know, the movie directors always hire stuntmen for critical shots, but Johnson insisted on doing the action by himself. He further said that he did the shot by gliding on the ice and hanging to a heavily moving vehicle and finally kicked the torpedo away.
