There are only three episodes of “Criminal Minds” Season 12 left As was previously reported, Spencer Reid is still in prison. Also, he has been trying to recall the facts on what actually took place in that motel room in Mexico.

The upcoming "Criminal Minds" Season 12 Episode 20, titled “Unforgettable” will mainly focus on Spencer Reid’s trial, which is about to start. It seems this may extend his stay behind bars for a good purpose. Fans, on the other hand, will get to see him gradually recalling the fact that he actually was the man behind killing the doctor, who was involved in supplying him medicine for his mother, as reported by Christian Today.
