'Gotham' Season 3 Spoilers: Ben McKenzie's Directorial Debut; What's Next For Riddler, Batman [VIDEO]

"How The Riddler Got His Name" Recap

In the second half of "Gotham" Season 3, Edward Nygma will make his transition, as a Batman villain called The Riddler. It seems that the mishap between him and his bestfriend, Penguin not only resulted in a possible death but also an identity crisis situation for Nygma. He then went out of his of finding his true self again.

However in order to do so, he must find the most intellectual individuals who might have an idea in helping him. These people met their deaths after failing his three-part test. Taking hallucinogens and seeing another version of Penguin brought him closer to a solution - Jim Gordon.

Fox had a chance to get a lead when Bullock got kidnapped. Unlike the past victims, he successfully answered one of the hard questions included in the three-part death riddler from Nygma.

Bruce Wayne And Batman VS The Court Of Owls?

The next episode of "Gotham" Season 3 will continue, as the Court of Owls began their hunt for Gordon and Bruce, Futon Critic reported. Gordon just learned about his family's connection with the crime group and they want him to join them. Meanwhile, the future Batman had his own share of struggles.

The 514A put him inside a prison after drugging him. As a result, a Bruce-looking doopelganger is on the loose. The teaser trailer hints on his possible training with the Shaman. Is he setting a path for the boy to become DC's Batman character?

Ben McKenzie Directs First Ever Episode For "Gotham"

In other news, Ben McKenzie is making his TV debut behind the scenes. He showcases his skills as the director of "Gotham" Season 3 Episode 16 "These Delicate and Dark Obsessions." The episode is written by Roberth Hull.

The actor previously teased his new "job" last year. He said that he will introduce James Remar as Jim Gordon's uncle, Frank. In an interview with Seth Meyer, he talked about his fun experience in directing his co-stars and he fellt thankful for their support.

McKenzie also pointed out the difference between being an actor and director. “It was a little bit odd, you know.

What was interesting was sort of how much I didn’t know that I knew until I actually got there,” McKenzie said via Just Jared. “It was like ‘oh, I know the answer to that question’, because I’ve sat here for three years from a different perspective.
