"Outlander" Season 3 stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe are both in South Africa to film their scenes for the new and upcoming Starz dramatization. While the on-screen couple have already denied the dating reports, Celebeat reported that they were recently seen holding hands.

Heughan obscurely said in his past interviews that if he and Balfe were dating, then the public would probably not know any details about it. This prompted theories that there is a secret relationship between the two stars. "I think if me and Caitriona were together, we would not say," Heughan said.

However, an onlooker reportedly saw the on-screen couple holding each other's hands, while they were taking a break from filming. The source even said that they seem to be more than just friends.

Hidden Remote stated that the executive producer of the show, Maril Davis, started a hashtag on Twitter, #AskMaril about what fans would love to know about season 3. Davis has apparently teased fans about who was hugging Heughan in the trailer and refused to answer.
