Bipolar Disorder Support Found Online
The report said that "ERPonline" is an online tool associated with improvement in beliefs about a person's mood. It also provides increased monitoring of early warning signs of mania and depression, compared to patients who did not use the intervention.
Bipolar Disorder is a mental health condition characterized by mania and depression. It can be treated with medication. However many people still continue to experience some relapses. "Online interventions may prove an important cheap, feasible and acceptable step forward in creating a choice of evidence-based interventions for people with BD at different stages of recovery," lead researcher Fiona Lobban from Lancaster University said.
