Michael Schumacher Health Update: Still Under Family Care; Two Former Racing Drivers Hope To See Him Back
A news released by Bunte, a Germany-based magazine said that “Michael Schumacher can walk again,” created a big issue. The family of the 48-year old German retired racing driver claimed that it had breached the privacy by creating its front-page health claim.
Judging the family complaint, Bunte has been ordered by a court in Hamburg to pay an amount of 50,000 Euros ($74,000) to the family. The amount also included the legal fees spent by the Schumacher family.
Michael Schumacher Recovering Under Family Care In Switzerland
Although the exact health condition of Michael Schumacher is still a mystery, Daily Star has reported that he is completely under the care of his family members at his home near Lake Geneva in Switzerland. He is continuing his treatment and recovery from the horror skiing accident that took place in Dec. 2013.
Former Racing Drivers Gerhard Berger And Zak Brown Want To See Him Back In Action
As mentioned, details of Schumacher's health are still unknown but Gerhard Berger is very optimistic about his speedy recovery. The Austrian, a former Formula One professional racing driver recently shared with German newspaper, Koelner Express that he believes Schumacher will recover soon and bounce back.
“I believe in the miracle and very much hope that we will soon hear positive news from Michael Schumacher. How Corinna and Mick Schumacher (his wife and son respectively) deal with this difficult situation is admirable,” the 57-year old Gerhard Berger said. The German newspaper further reported that he is still in contact with Corinna and Mick.
On the other hand, a few days back, another former professional racing driver, Zak Brown said to the media that he would hope to see that Schumacher returning to the paddock one day, after completely recovering from his severe injury, as reported by MobiPicker. Zac Brown is presently the Executive Director of McLaren Technology Group.
