Michael Schumacher Health Status Still Kept Secret By Family Members, Withdrawal Of Ross Brawn's Comment
Fans and followers of Michael Schumacher are desperate to know some updates surrounding his health. Although a few earlier reports suggested that the 48-year old retired racing driver was showing some signs of improvement but nothing new has been told about his present condition.
Former motorsport engineer and Formula One Managing Director of Motorsports, Ross Brawn is quite close to Michael Schumacher and his family. The seven-time world champion once confirmed in Dec. 2009 that the main cause he decided to come out of retirement and drive for Mercedes GP was only because of Brawn. This gives the public an idea of how Brawn is closely connected to the Schumacher family.
Why Did Ross Brawn Take His Statement Back?
In a recent comment to the media, Brawn shared something promising surrounding the health status of Schumacher and his comment made the former racing driver’s fans quite hopeful. But he instantly retracted his statement after realizing that the Schumacher family’s intention was to keep his current status a secret, as reported by Celebeat.
“I was quoted as saying he’s improving, and it was not what I really meant,” Brawn said. He further said that since his family members were pursuing his medical treatment and improvement in private he needed to respect that.
Hence, he didn’t want to comment on his health condition. He only said that he was passionately waiting to see him in normal condition very soon.
Full Family Responsibility On Mick Schumacher’s Shoulder
Other sources said that Michael Schumacher’s son, Mick Schumacher (18) has taken full responsibility of his family business when his father was still suffering from serious injuries after felling and hitting his head on a rock while skiing with his son. Recently, Mick has debuted his career by following his father’s track and he was at the Silverstone last month, iSports Times published.
