Celebrity Makeup Artist Dies After Ignoring This Common Brain Tumor Symptom
A celebrity makeup artist has succumbed to a brain tumor after ignoring one common symptom she experienced for some time.
Anca Molnar reportedly passed away on Tuesday morning after battling a brain tumor for more than a year. She was 35.
The makeup artist, who worked with some of the most famous celebrities from Romania, went to see a doctor over a year ago after experiencing an excruciating headache that prevented her from living her daily life normally, The Sun reported Thursday.
However, it was too late when she had her health checked. Apparently, she had been suffering from severe headaches for some time before that, but she chose to ignore them, perhaps thinking they were not that serious.
One of her closest friends, Alina Radi, admitted to local news outlets that Anca had been complaining about her headaches for a long time before she had it checked.
"She had been experiencing excruciating headaches more frequently. Initially, she didn't think much of them because that's how we are, but she found herself struggling to carry out her daily tasks consistently," Alina said.
"So, she decided to go for a specialized check-up." After this, Anca told Alina that "she had a brain tumor."
By the time she met with professional help, doctors told her very little could be done to help her due to the progression of the brain tumor.
She had intensive chemotherapy treatments and two brain surgeries in hopes of addressing the issue but to no avail. Throughout her battle with her brain tumor, Anca shared regular updates about her health to her thousands of followers on social media.
According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, headache is the most common symptom of a brain tumor, followed by seizures or convulsions, difficulty thinking or speaking, personality changes, paralysis or weakness in one side of the body, loss of balance, dizziness, loss of hearing, vision changes, confusion, and memory loss.
In her heartbreaking final post online, she shared a meaningful message to her fans before her demise, saying: "I came, I lived beautifully, and I left for another world. I fought as best as I could with all my strength. I leave with gratitude for how beautiful my life was and let my smile be a testament that I lived it to the fullest."
"I, Anca Molnar, have gone home. But from there, I will continue to watch over you always. Stay well and look for me among the stars. From time to time, I'll wink at you."
Molnar is survived by her husband Claudiu.
