A 39-year-old Arkansas man paralyzed from the waist down woke up Monday morning to find his dog eating one of his testicles.

The unidentified man, who sleeps in the nude, said he woke up to a "burning pain" around his midsection, according to KAIT8.

The man had opened his eyes Monday morning to find his "small, white, fluffy dog" in between his legs covered in blood. He said that the dog had blood on its muzzle and front paws and was chomping on something chewing.

Afterwards, the man discovered that the dog was eating his testicles. He called the ambulance and was rushed to the hospital, according to the Daily News.

The man told police that he had taken the stray dog around three weeks ago. He didn't even know if the fog had been vaccinated.

According to the Huffington Post, police were forced to take the dog to the local vet to be euthanized.  The dog's had was then sent to the Arkansas Department of Health to be tested for rabies.

The man is still recovering at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries, according to KAIT8.
