Remee Jo Lee was a happy employee at a gentlemen’s club until she felt in love with a guy named Andrew Welden, who got her pregnant and then tricked her into taking a pill that terminated her pregnancy.

“I am just a girl from Lutz that fell in love with the wrong man,” Remee Jo Lee told ABC.

John Andrew Welden, 28, is woman’s former lover and has been pleaded guilty to giving her a pill that induced labor and killed the fetus.

“I wanted this baby more than anything,” the 27-year-old from Lutz said, , according to NY Daily News. “Not because it was Andrew’s, but it was my baby as well.”

According to Lee, the baby was supposed to be the start of a new life for her. She is also a former student of University of Southern Florida.

"I’d given up a lot of hope, but he picked me right up off the floor,” she said. “It was this emotional connection.”

Lee was so deeply in love with Welden that she considered him to be an answer to her prayers.

For Welden, Lee was nothing more than a way to combat his loneliness. When he walked in to that bikini bar, he was still recovering from the end of his long-term relationship.

“He never even used condoms with me,” Lee recalled. “I was well aware of what could happen.”
