If you ever wanted to smell like bacon, here's a deodorant that will help you smell like a pig.

Food company J&D Foods has come up with this unique idea for promoting pork. It released a gel deodorant called Power Bacon with a ‘strong meat-scented musk’. However, the company calls it more of an ‘odorant’ than simply a deodorant.

“Everyone who has been around it dies laughing,” said J&D’s owner Justin Esch to Daily Mail.

The website reads wearing Power Bacon "will probably make everyone drawn to you like you were the most powerful magnet on Earth,"

The price of the single stick of deodorant costs $9.99. Interestingly the description on the stick says that potent smell may attract unwanted attention from wildlife too.

“Do not eat or hike in the woods without a firearm while wearing Power Bacon,” the website said.

The proper way of using the bacon-scented product, according to the company is ‘Apply liberally to your underarms or private areas.’

Although the product smelled like bacon, it actually did not contain any pork. The Power Bacon is not the only bacon-themed product available from J&D foods. Products like bacon sunscreen, bacon seasoning and bacon shaving cream are also available.

The founding story of the company is rather interesting too. The company was launched by men named Justin and Dave. They had won money for clip which they entered on America’s Funniest Home Videos. The same cash was used to launch Justin and Dave’s first product - Bacon Salt.
