'Destiny 2' News & Update: Sequel May Be Announced Soon, Bungie Releases Hotfix 2.5.0.2 For 'Destiny'
Three years ago, Bungie released the online-only first-person shooter in the form of "Destiny." Since then, the game has earned several accolades, including Best game during the British Academy Video Games Awards of 2014. Now, Bungie has confirmed that that they are indeed working on "Destiny 2."
But does that mean the sequel may be announced soon? In the meantime, Bungie released Hotfix 2.5.0.2 for "Destiny" that gamers can download now.

According to VG247, the Hotfix 2.5.0.2 for "Destiny" features several changes to shotguns and rifles. To be specific, Hotfix 2.5.0.2 has adjusted Special ammo economy for all gametypes. It has also enabled gamers to begin Crucible matches with Special ammo. Gamers should note that they can now lose Special ammo upon death. Note also that Special ammo crates now appear every 60 seconds for initial spawn and respawn.
"Destiny" fans who are looking forward to "Destiny 2" should take note to download Hotfix 2.5.0.2, which has also increased Precision Damage modifier to 1.3x from 1.25x. It has also increased base damage of low rate of fire Auto Rifles by 2.5%. Note that scout rifles has also increased in air accuracy.

According to GameSpot, "Destiny" gamers who can't wait for "Destiny 2," the sequel that may be announced soon, should take a closer look at Hotfix 2.5.0.2, which also lets gamers have a shorter time in Elimination mode (90 seconds versus 120 seconds). Gamers may also notice that Blink disables a gamer's radar and HUD for a short time after it's used. The Throwing Knife also now deals solar damage.
